Structural Engineer

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Structural Engineer with upwards of two years’ experience to join our Structural Engineering team at our office of 40 staff in Norwich. You will work on a diverse and exciting range of projects, with new developments and existing buildings across a range of sectors including residential, healthcare, conservation, education and commercial for projects including some of the most prestigious regional projects. With a recent uptick in secured work, we are now keen to supplement our team of structural engineers with an enthusiastic Engineer.

The opportunity would especially suit a Graduate Engineer with experience, ready for fresh opportunities to advance their development. Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • Two or more years design experience
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Design experience (with software and hand-calculations)
  • Collaborative and team-focussed attitude
  • A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ambitious, driven and eager to take on new challenges

Desirable Skills/Knowledge

  • Client-facing/team meetings experience
  • Independent design experience
