Rossi Long Consulting can provide Flood Risk Assessments for potential development sites as part of our pre-planning services. The requirement for a Flood Risk Assessment for a planning application submission shall be dependent upon the size of the development and whether the site is located within an area of increased flood risk. We would be pleased to undertake an initial appraisal of the site and advise upon the site specific requirements for a Flood Risk Assessment.
We are experienced in producing assessments that satisfy the requirements of the Planning Authorities, Lead Local Flood Authorities, Environment Agency, internal drainage boards, waste water authorities and in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework.
In addition to Flood Risk Assessments, our services extend to the preparation of foul and surface water drainage strategies, flood response plans and SuDS management and maintenance plans. We will advise on the statutory requirements, undertake the necessary hydraulic modelling, produce recommendations to achieve compliance and progress to deliver the necessary reports.
