Developments vary significantly in scale from single units up to over 250 dwellings including both new build and refurbishment projects.

Our experiences of whole life costing of products and systems can prove important to ensure the correct solutions are sought. Our expertise of alternative structural systems including loadbearing masonry, timber frame, modular, structural insulated panel systems (SIPS), insulated concrete formwork systems, thin joint blockwork etc, ensure that the correct structural solution is adopted to meet the clients requirements.

Rossi Long Consulting provide engineering design services for national housebuilders, private developers and self-builders to deliver high quality and award winning homes throughout the eastern region. We understand the commercial considerations in the delivery of private housing and work closely with our clients to ensure their project aspirations are achieved.

We have completed a range of projects from bespoke single unit dwellings to housing developments of up to 600 properties, on both inner city brownfield and greenfield sites.  We have a good working relationship and understand the specific requirements of local regulators including the Lead Local Flood Authority, planners, water authorities and highway authorities. We have detailed knowledge of the various housing warranty providers such as NHBC, Premier and LABC to ensure that the required technical standards are met.

Rossi Long Consulting provide engineering design services to the residential care sector including retirement homes, extra care housing and respite accommodation, dementia care homes and hospices for complex end of life care. We have delivered projects on behalf of private and NHS healthcare providers, registered social landlords and charities.

Rossi Long Consulting continue to provide engineering design services to the student accommodation sector for both university and college students. We have delivered projects on behalf of private developers, universities and private boarding schools throughout the East of England.

We have experience in a variety of volumetric off site construction techniques that are particularly suitable to student accommodation including modular and light gauge steel frame solutions. We are acutely aware of programme constraints regarding the delivery of student accommodation to meet term dates and we work with our clients to manage design and construction risks to minimise the risk of programme delays.
