We are proud to announce that four projects we collaborated on were successful at this year’s Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards!
The Halls, Norwich – Winner: Regeneration and Retrofit
The Halls in Norwich was recognised as a winner in the Regeneration and Retrofit category. Rossi Long Consulting proudly supported Purcell Architecture in the delivery of this project, providing structural engineering expertise to enable the sensitive and careful refurbishment of the historic Grade I Listed buildings, St Andrew’s Hall and Blackfriars’ Hall, located in the heart of Norwich.
The significant project for the city was Led by Norwich City Council, Historic England, conservation officers, and funders including the Towns Fund, Arts Council England and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
Purdy Street, Salthouse – Winner: Residential Project of the Year
Purdy Street, Salthouse secured the award for Residential Project of the Year. Working alongside Ingleton Wood and Smiths of Honingham, we contributed to the delivery of this high‑quality, sustainable housing scheme for Broadland Housing, North Norfolk District Council and Homes England.
Attleborough Road, Great Ellingham – Highly Commended Residential Project of the Year
Lovell Partnership’s Attleborough Road residential development in Great Ellingham was recognised as highly commended in the same category.
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre – Winner: Building of the Year
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Community Diagnostic Centre was awarded Building of the Year. Collaborating with Morgan Sindall, we supported the delivery of this modern outpatient imaging facility, forming a key part of the Norfolk Community Diagnostic Centre Programme
